My Oliveda Skincare Routine Right Now

This blog post is all about my current non-toxic skincare routine using the European waterless skincare brand, Oliveda (aka Olive Tree People). It will give an overview of the brand, where to start, and my personal AM and PM routine right now. Scroll down to the very end to see my top tips!

As a backstory, I am always searching for skincare that is (1.) non-toxic and (2.) very high-performing. When I started using Oliveda in 2024, it was both of those things for me. It feels like such a skincare upgrade. Not only clean, but also waterless with the powerful antioxidant hydroxytyrosol from organic olive trees in every single product.
Okay, let’s dive in!…
Before I go over my routine, let’s go over a few key things about this brand and common questions! Since I know it is new to a lot of you…
What is Oliveda?
Oliveda is a German-based skincare brand that has a 22-year reputation in Europe, but launched a little over 2 years ago in the United. States. So, it's brand new here! It's become the #1 fastest growing waterless beauty brand in the world.
In a nutshell, it's a safe and effective European brand that utilizes the incredible healing benefits of the olive tree. More specifically, Hydroxytyrosol, a molecule from olive leaf extract. One simple Google search of this powerhouse ingredient, will result in some pretty remarkable benefits to the skin and body. This molecule is the primary reason olive trees can live up to 4,000 years!
Oliveda has more than 30,000 eco-certified mountain olive trees protected in a nature reserve in Spain (one of the largest olive tree farms in Spain!!!). They also have over 130,000 bees on the olive tree farm that provide raw materials for some of their formulas - like the honey used in the masks.
What make Oliveda Unique?
Oliveda is a bioactive and waterless skincare brand with Hydroxytyrosol as the base in every single product.
In conventional skincare, water makes up 70% - 90% of the product. You will find ‘water’ listed first on most skincare ingredient lists (check your products in your bathroom and see what the first ingredient is! Is it water? That is 70 - 90% of the product). And only 1-10% of the product is active ingredients.
"Waterless skincare" refers specifically to products without the use of water as a base ingredient. Oliveda replaces up to 70% of the water found in mainstream brands with Hydroxytrysol. This makes Oliveda products 3,000X more concentrated, and therefore, that much more effective in nourishing the skin.
Note, you will see "water" listed on the ingredient label, because water is a byproduct of extracting ingredients from the olive leaf as they press the leaves, it's part of the elixir and therefore required to be on the label per EU guidelines. Oliveda never adds water to their products!!
What does Bioactive Mean?
Bioactive skincare means that the ingredients in the product actively benefit the skin.
Unlike traditional skincare, which may contain fillers or inactive ingredients, Oliveda’s bioactive skincare is formulated with components that have a direct impact on skin health, such as antioxidants, vitamins, plant extracts, and natural oils. These ingredients work in harmony with the skin’s biology to support hydration, repair, and overall skin function. Instead of a quick fix, these products improve your skin for the long term!
Oliveda Safety Standards
This is a very important topic for me because if you know me, you know I would never recommend something that I wouldn't personally use myself or recommend to my loved one!! I am very picky with what I apply to my skin (our largest organ!!). The safety standards and holistic healing aspects of this brand are more reasons why I love it.
Since Oliveda is a European brand, it meets the strict standards of the European Union (EU), as well as, German regulations which are even more strict. In total, Oliveda bans over 4,000 ingredients! There is also no "fragrance loophole" like we have in the United States. In the EU, every single ingredient, including everything that makes up fragrance, has to be disclosed and approved using EU’s strict standards before it then has to be labeled as fragrance, per the EU guidelines. This includes essential oils, which also have maximum concentration limits.
Oliveda never uses synthetic fillers, preservatives or fragrance in any of their products. And any fragrance in their products is 100% essential oils sustainably sourced from the Mediterranean.
What is a good place to start?
This was a question I had myself when I started using this brand!
First, let’s break down all the numbers and letters…
F stands for “face”
I stands for “internal”
B stands for “body”.
The numbers are in the order the products launched. So, F59 is a face product that was the 59th product to launch.

My Current Oliveda Routine
I’m 38 years old with normal to combination skin. It is drier in the winter and oilier in the summer. It’s also aging - I definitely need products to reduce my fine lines and wrinkles (aging gracefully, that is!!).
I started slow, with the F59 serum and F42 lotion, and I added in more products over time. I always recommend starting slow like this because this allows your skin to adjust to these bioactive and effective products.
This is my skincare routine right now…
DAILY MORNING ROUTINE
1. CLEANSE
Purifying Cleansing Gel F38 - I use this morning and night right now and love it for my combination skin. (if you are more dry, use the F71 Cleansing Gel or F72 Cleansing Oil)
2. Toner
Corrective Tonic F67 - Since my skin is drier in the winter, I’ve added in this tonic to my routine after cleansing. Unlike a regular toner, this tonic has hyaluronic in it, and is more hydrating.
3. SERUM
Corrective Serum (F59) - The paracress in this serum helps stimulates collagen production and relaxes facial muscles. Highly, highly recommend this serum if you want to help soften fine lines, it’s my #1 favorite product!!!
4. MOISTURIZE
For moisturizer, I do one of two things. I either apply a face lotion OR I mix a facial oil into my F59 serum and that is what I use in place of a lotion.
Corrective Face Cream (F42)- This is the face cream I use during the day. It also has spf 15 in it. A little bit goes a long way with all the face creams; you don’t need much!!!
Facial Oil F63- Lately I’ve been using this instead of my F42 cream. I’ll mix a few drops into my palm with my F59 serum and mix together and then apply.

MAKEUP Routine
I don’t need more makeup after that skincare routine, it leaves my skin feeling really good, glowing, clear, and even! For a natural look for makeup, I will apply:
NIGHTLY PM ROUTINE
My night routine is very similar to my day routine, except I add in an elixir several nights a week and my nightly lotion is different than my daytime lotion. Then two nights a week I use an AHA serum, scroll down to see that one!
1. Cleanser
2. Toner
Serum+ Elixir
F86 Corrective Midnight Elixir - elixirs are the retinol alternatives that you mix with the serum. Helps the F59 serum perform even better and amps up your results. You put it in your palm with the serum and mix together and then apply to your face! The Midnight Elixir is only to be used at night! Start slow and use 1-2 nights a week.
3. Eye Cream
When I really want to target crow’s feet and eye area, I use the Eye Elixir (F64)!
Corrective Eye Cream (F60) is my favorite Oliveda eye cream. You can apply by itself or after the F64 eye elixir.
4. Moisturizer
Regeneration Intense Face Cream (F74) - This is a deeply nourishing cream. You kind of rub it between your fingers to warm it up before applying. I then dab on my cheeks and forehead and press/massage in. I look forward to wearing this each night!!! It’s great. Works for ALL skin types, even sensitive skin!
PM ROUTINE I will do 2 times a week
HT + AHA Serum (F81) - This AHA Serum exfoliates your skin overnight for more even, glowing and clear skin. This is awesome. I will wash my face and then apply about 1/2 pipette of this, let set a few minutes, and follow with the F74 Regeneration Intense Cream and eye cream and go to bed!
EXFOLIATING SCRUB 2x a week
This is key!!! When you start using Oliveda, it rapidly speeds up your skin turnover, so it’s important to exfoliate!! Get that top layer of dead skin off your face, so you reveal your smooth and clear skin.
This Olive Core Peeling (F10) is amazing, and you use it 2 times a week! Get this to help exfoliate your skin and use once or twice a week.
