Summer Sangria

This has been Chad’s favorite summer drink to make!

He will make a big batch for the weekend and that way if a neighbor or friend stops by, he has a drink to offer! Best sipped slowly, outdoors, under the shade and relaxing. Doesn’t that sound nice?!?!? And it’s super pretty!

This recipe is SUPER flexible, so any fruit will work. We use a mix of chopped and frozen fruit with some fresh fruit.

Summer White Wine Sangria

  • 2 bottles Pinot Grigio white wine

  • 1 cup seltzer

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • Juice from 1 lemon

  • 1 apple, sliced

  • 2-3 cups of frozen, chopped fruit: we use a bag of frozen and chopped mango, strawberries, peaches

  • 1 can of mandarin oranges, drained (peeled and segmented fresh oranges will also work!)

Directions:

  1. Prep the fruit and chop and place in a large container or pitcher. Add in the wine, sugar, seltzer and lemon juice and stir.

  2. Let set in the refrigerator to chill before serving.

  3. Serve well chilled.
